Explore the World of Biology! Grade 7 Students Develop Thinking, Observation, and Analytical Skills Through the Study of Cell Structures Using Microscopes

The Science and Technology Learning Area brought Grade 7 students to the Biology Laboratory to participate in a hands-on learning activity on the topic of “The Study of the Shapes and Structures of Living Cells.”

During this activity, students learned and practiced the proper use of microscopes to explore and identify the shapes of various types of cells. The activity focused on developing students’ “thinking processes, detailed observation skills, and data analysis abilities” based on what they observed through the eyepiece lens, which are essential foundations of the Scientific Method.

The school aims to promote learning through hands-on experiences in the laboratory, encouraging students’ interest in deeper scientific exploration and fostering systematic analytical thinking skills for their future learning.
