The Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Program is a joint project between the Japanese government and the governments of ASEAN countries. which supports expenses throughout the program for selected youth representatives

For the 47th SSEAYP, there will be project participants:

Youth from ASEAN countries, 90 people (10 people per country)

20 young people from Japan

Leaders of the Youth Delegation (National Leaders; NL), 10 people (1 per country)

The theme for SSEAYP 2023 is “What youth can do in the new era of cooperation commemorating the 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation”. ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation)”
