“Enhancing Life Skills Through Proper Life-Saving Techniques: Basic Life Support Training Activity”

On Friday, May 1, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the Demonstration School of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University organized a training session on Basic Life Support (BLS): CPR, AED, and Choking Assistance for Grade 10 students in the Consortium of Thai Medical Schools Program (Pre-Medical Class), the Student Committee of the 2025 academic year, and school personnel. The activity was held at Phanitchayakul Conference Room, Building 14, 4th Floor.

The training aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge, understanding, and essential skills in providing proper and timely assistance during emergency situations, including accidents and critical incidents in daily life. These skills are valuable for helping members of the public as well as family members effectively and safely.

Participants engaged in both theoretical and hands-on practical training, covering situation assessment, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and first aid for choking victims. The program emphasized practical exercises to ensure participants could confidently apply the skills in real-life situations.

On this occasion, the school was honored to welcome Air Chief Marshal Subin Cheewapreecha, Deputy Director of the Royal Volunteer Center Headquarters, along with the royal volunteer team, as guest speakers. They shared their expertise and experiences closely with participants, fostering awareness of the importance of basic life-saving skills.

This activity reflects the school’s commitment to developing students not only in academic excellence but also in essential life skills, empowering them to become valuable members of society who are ready to provide timely and appropriate assistance to others. ????✨
